Here is the info
on the Golden Knights player Steve Dutson and their
recent
accident. Put them on your prayer list and
if you can, donate to their needs.
Impossible to understand what they are going through.
Any and all help, contact, encouragement will be a brick
in the wall of hope for them.
This team, the Golden Knights are a family, very close
and this is rolling through the lives of every player.
Debby, Steve and Chris Cordero are strong Christians.
They have dedicated their lives to being a living
sacrifice for the Lord. They invest in all aspects of
their players lives and this loss is a crushing blow, to
each of them.
Remember to encourage them and hold them up in prayer as
well. They will be part of Steve and Devin’s lives as
they process this and move forward. There is healing and
hope and renewal through our Lord Jesus Christ, they
know this. If you need Debby’s contact info, let me
know.
*********
Kevin, a quick update on our player Steve Dutson and his
beautiful Devin Jones. Steve was taken out of
ICU today and moved to a regular room. They have started
physical therapy on him. He suffered four broken bones
to his leg (2 were compound), a crushed knee cap, and a
broken wrist and a small laceration to his liver.
His fiance, Devin is still in critical condition, but
was more responsive today. As you all know, they were
not able to save the baby, beautiful Madalyn Ann who
passed away Saturday. Devin has undergone two surgeries
since the accident in which they had to remove her
spleen, she had abdominal bleeding and had to undergo
several CT Scans to check for neurological problems. She
has multiple broken bones including a crushed pelvis and
will undergo another surgery Thursday for that. They are
devastated at the loss of their baby but are thankful to
still have each other and are coping on a day to day
basis.
They have no insurance and will also have the cost of
burying their baby. An account has been set up at Wells
Fargo under the name of "The
Steven Dutson and Devin Jones Donation Account".
Account #1982869461. Anyone can
stop in and ask to make a donation under that name and
account number. Any amount will make a huge difference
to this young couple.
Steve and I would like to thank everyone for their
thoughts and prayers. We have known this young man for
over 9 years as he and our son went to school together.
He and Devin are amazing people and our hearts are
broken for what they are going through right now. I
thank all of you for the support of this football
family.
